Job description
Robinhood in Bellevue, Washington (and Menlo Park, CA) seeks a full‑time Senior Software Engineer, AI Security to join a high‑velocity team redefining finance for the next generation of wealth holders. The role centers on designing a scalable, secure AI platform that lets security teams build, deploy, and run AI‑powered agents with identity, authentication, authorization, encryption and data‑protection controls, while keeping the system reliable and performant at large scale. You’ll architect foundational services, APIs, libraries and SDKs, orchestrate distributed systems to support AI use cases, and create guardrails that make AI adoption safe. Collaboration with security, infrastructure and engineering groups will shape reusable platform capabilities, and you’ll advocate for automation that lifts developer experience, reliability and security. Candidates must have five or more years of software development experience, at least three years building large‑scale distributed systems that revolve around security primitives, and proven experience in AI platform or infrastructure development.
