Job description
Figma is welcoming an Engineering Manager for Design Systems Adherence in New York (or remotely in the U.S.) to steer a 6‑8 engineer squad that crafts workflows, tools, and feedback loops to guarantee customers’ design and code align with their system while using Figma’s Agents. The leader will set strategy across context engineering—making guidelines, examples, and docs usable for AI—improve agent architecture, and develop datasets, evaluators, and benchmarks that quantify adherence. Responsibilities include coaching engineers, defining high‑fidelity evaluation datasets, building dashboards that measure visual quality, latency, and cost, and collaborating tightly with Product, Design, and AI Research to drive business impact. Applicants should have over three years of scalable team leadership, hands‑on experience building AI assistants and evaluation pipelines, strong software engineering fundamentals, and a sharp focus on reliable, customer‑centric measurement.
